Your religion is your personal choice and part of your private life—don’t disturb others with it. Oyo State is ranked as one of the best-performing states in mechanised farming in Nigeria.
Let us embrace our visionary governor, Engineer ‘Seyi Makinde, and continue to criticise him constructively. After all, life without criticism is not worth living.
When the election comes in 2027, we will do it the way we did in 2023. May God grant the governor the wisdom to choose an intelligent successor like himself.
“But se ri awon ara bi yen, won ti get ara won.” (You see those people, they are not yet ready for the election). Their structure is not solid enough to win the governorship election in Oyo State.
But they will not listen—anyone who tells them the truth becomes their enemy. They are politically naive and they do not understand that winning an election requires building a political structure that can stand the test of time.
Arrogance and feeling too big will soon end their political careers.
Wetin I know self? I’m not a politician, jare!
But one thing that I know for sure is that investing in science, technology and agricultural research will further position Oyo State in an enviable position in the world.
