Hon. Olusegun Odebunmi (Bunvic), Chairman of the Board of Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority, has pledged to dedicate his service to ensuring efficient management of the Basin Authority for the benefit of the people.
This was as he expressed deep gratitude to President Tinubu following the confirmation of his appointment as the chairman of the Board of Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority.
Odebunmi, a former chairman of the House Committee on Information, National Orientation, Ethics and Values, was a member of the House of Representatives in the 7th, 8th and 9th Assemblies.
He described his appointment as a great honour and pledged his unwavering commitment to advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Tinubu-led administration.
Hon. Odebunmi emphasised the importance of sustainable water resource management and assured Nigerians that he would work diligently to contribute to the national development.
“I sincerely thank His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR), for this great opportunity and for entrusting me with this vital role.
“I remain fully aligned with the vision of this administration and will dedicate my efforts to ensuring efficient management of the Ogun-Osun River Basin for the benefit of the people,” he stated.
Hon. Odebunmi also extended his gratitude to the people of Ogbomosoland, across all five local governments areas, acknowledging their support and encouragement throughout his political journey.
Odebunmi particularly thanked the people of Ogo-Oluwa/Surulere Federal Constituency for their unwavering support over the years, promising to uphold integrity, diligence and dedication in his service.
Hon. Odebunmi also thanked the Oyo State APC leadership and party members for their confidence in him, stating that their support has been instrumental in his success.
“As we move forward, I look forward to working collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure development, not just within the Ogun-Osun River Basin Authority, but across Oyo State and beyond.
“Together, we will build a stronger and more prosperous nation,” the former federal lawmaker added in a statement.
