A randy 84-year-old man who allegedly defiled an eight-year-old girl has been arrested by operatives of the Ogun State Police Command.
The suspect, Stephen Jack who resides in Okun Owa area of Ijebu Ode, was arrested following a report lodged at the Obalende Divisional Police Headquarters by the father of the victim.
This was contained in a press release, AZ:5310/OGS/PRO/VOL.7/152 24/09/2022, by the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, (PPRO) SP Abimbola Oyeyemi.
It was discovered that the randy old man had a forceful canal knowledge of the young girl after she told her father.
The father said he noticed that his daughter was bleeding from her private part.
The discovery, he said, prompted him to ask his daughter what really happened to her, adding that she told him that it was the old man that had sex with her.
The suspect was also said to have been notoriously known in the area as a serial pedophile.
As stated in the release, the father of the victim (name withheld) reported that he discovered that his daughter was bleeding from her private part.
He said when he asked the little girl what could have been the cause, she informed him that the suspect had sex with her.
Upon the report, the DPO Obalende Division, SP Murphy Salami, detailed his detectives to the scene where the randy old man was apprehended.
“Preliminary investigation revealed that the old man is a known pedophile in the area.
“The victim has been taken to the General Hospital Ijebu Ode for medical treatment,” Oyeyemi stated in the release.
He also disclosed that the state Commissioner of Police, Lanre Bankole, has directed that the suspect be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for more investigation.
He added that the randy 84-year-old suspect may be arraigned for possible prosecution after the investigation.
