It was a promise made and well-delivered as top Fuji act, King Wasiu Ayinde (K1 De Ultimate), Nollywood big act, Odunlade Adekola and Dele Omo Woli held fun-seekers spellbound on Saturday at the first anniversary of the Bottles Republik.
The coming of K1 to Ibadan was part of the three-day event sponsored by Goldberg Larger Beer to entertain fun-seekers and patrons of the exclusive entertainment hub located in the heart of the metropolitan city.
The night with K1, tagged “Ganusi Ope With King Wasiu Ayinde K1 De Ultimate” and anchored by Odunlade Adekola, held at the Bottles Republik.
It was, indeed, a night of fun and an icing on the cake. The Ibadan nightlife scene came alive as top celebrities and entertainers gathered at the top-tier entertainment destination to mark its (Bottles Republik) first anniversary in grand style.
The spectacle of energising music coming from K1, comedy by Adelola and Omo Woli, as well as cultural performances was the climax of the anniversary celebration, which also included Valentine’s Day cruise on Friday.
The Fuji Music maestro, K1 De Ultimate, announced his arrival at the event, singing from among the crowd before he eventually mounted the stage.
He delivered an electrifying performance, serenading the audience with a mix of old and new hits. K1 signature stage presence and powerful vocals kept the guests on their feet, dancing and singing along, even they were asking for more.
Knowing what the audience craved for, the Fuji Music maestro got an ecstatic response from the crowd when he sang “Alujo Wese, e ganusi Fuji mi.”
Adding to the excitement, Nollywood star, Odunlade Adekola, brought his charismatic energy on stage, while popular comedian, Dele Omo Woli, thrilled the audience with rib-cracking jokes.
The night also featured a vibrant display from a Korean dancer and an electrifying performance by the Babanjo Cultural Troupe, blending local and international acts for a truly unforgettable experience.
Speaking on the event of Saturday night, Dr Funso Ayeni, the highly-elated owner of Bottles Republik, expressed his gratitude to the fun-seekers and patrons for their support over the past one year.
