The Ibadanland United Elders’ Forum has congratulated Oba (Dr) Mohood Ooalekab Ishola Balogun Alli Okunmade II, on his coronation as the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland.
The forum, in a release by its chairman, Alhaji Omilabu Gandhi and secretary, Chief Bisi Adesina, extol the new Olubadan for climbing through the ladder to become the paramount ruler of Ibadanland.
It said is was noteworthy that, by the grace of God, Oba Balogun reached the peak of the Ibadan Traditional Council in good health, adding that it was a no mean achievement.

The forum prayed to God to grant the new paramount ruler divine wisdom, good health and long life to be able to guide Ibadanland to greater developments.
“We of Ibadanland United Elders Forum rejoice with your Imperial Majesty on the grace of God on you Sir, in counting you worthy to cross all the ladders of Ibadanland and chieftaincy requirements to reach the peak in good health to witness your historic coronation as the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland.
“Kabiyesi, Oba (Dr) Mohood Olalekan Ishola, Balogun Alli Okunmade II, this is by any standard a no mean accomplishment for which we congratulate Your Imperial Majesty.
“We pray God Almighty to bless you, sir, with divine wisdom, good health and long life. May the good people of Ibadanland and mankind also enjoy peace and progress throughout Your Imperial Majesty’s reign,” the statement read.
