Five men, suspected to be members of a ritualist gang, have been arrested by operatives of the Ogun State Police Command.
The five suspected ritualists were said to have been exhuming corpses from their graves and removing their body parts for ritual purpose.
The suspects: Oshole Fayemi (60), Oseni Adesanya (39), Ismaila Seidu (30), Oseni Oluwasegun (69) and Lawal Olaiya (50), were arrested by police operatives on Saturday.

The Ogun Police image-maker stated that the suspected ritualists were arrested, following an information received by the at Odogbolu Divisional Police Headquarters.
He stated that it was reported that the gang, said to be responsible for series of corpse exhumation within Ososa Community, were planning somewhere within the town to carry out another round of human parts harvest.
Oyeyemi added that the suspects have confessed to their involvement in exhuming body parts of the dead for ritual purpose.
He further stated in the release that the suspected ritualists also confessed that they do sell parts of such corpse to their standby buyers who need it for money-making rituals.
“Upon the information, the DPO, Odogbolu Division, CSP Godwin Idehai, mobilised his men and stormed the suspects’ hideout where five of them were apprehended,” it was stated in the release.
“On interrogation, the suspects made confessional statements that they were actually into the business of exhuming corpses from their graves.
“They also confessed that they used to sell parts of such corpse to their standby buyers who need it for money-making rituals,” he stated in the release.
SP Oyeyemi also disclosed that the statr Commissioner of Police, CP Frank Mba, has directed that the suspects be transferred to State Criminal Investigation Departments (SCID).
The directive, he added, was for discreet investigation and possible prosecution of the five suspected ritualists.
