The All Progressives Congress (APC), South Africa chapter, has donated branded souvenirs to support the campaign efforts of the party’s presidential candidate, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Chairman of the chapter, Bola Babarinde, presented the souvenirs, which included branded caps and banners, among others, to Mr Ade Omole, Director, Diaspora Directorate, APC Presidential Campaign Council,in Abuja.
Babarinde, who is also Deputy Director, Diaspora, Tinubu/Shettima and Sanwo-Olu/Hamzat Independent Campaign Group (ICG), described the gesture as their modest contribution toward the victory of the party.
He said the South African chapter was ready to collaborate with other diaspora chapters to support the Presidential Campaign Council and mobilise massive votes for APC candidates in the 2023 general election.
“The APC South Africa chapter is ready to work with the Diaspora Directorate of the Presidential Campaign Council and Prince Ade Omole on his new journey to lead to success,” he said.
The chairman of the chapter said other chairmen in various countries were also ready to work with the Presidential Campaign Council, assuring the council of the chapter’s unalloyed support.
Babarinde, who is also the founder of Progress Parrots Forum (PPF), a Non-Governmental Organisation, said PPF was supporting and working for enthronement of good governance in Nigeria and Africa at large as well as empowerment of youths across Nigeria.
He said the NGO has ccommand centres in Lagos, Nigeria, and in Pretoria, South Africa.
Receiving the souvenirs, Omole commended the APC, South African chapter, for the donation and expressed optimism that other Diaspora chapters would equally collaborate and support the Presidential Campaign Council.
Omole said he was equally ready to work with all Diaspora chairmen to ensure victory for APC candidates in the forthcoming general election.
“All APC chieftains in the diaspora want our principal, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to succeed in 2023 presidential election,” he stressed.
