Oyo State governor and presidential candidate of the Allied People’s Movement (APM), ‘Seyi Makinde, has charged the party’s newly-inaugurated apex campaign council for the state to ensure an all-inclusive campaign structure.
The governor gave the charge during the inauguration of the council at the Conference Room of the Governor’s Office, Agodi, Ibadan, on Friday.

He urged members of the council to reach out to all stakeholders and ensure proper integration for an all-inclusive campaign structure ahead of the 2027 general election.
The council is chaired by Dr. Nureni Adeniran, Chairman of the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB).
Adeniran will serve concurrently as the Oyo State Coordinator of the APM 2027 Presidential Campaign and Director General of the Oyo State Governorship Campaign.
Other members of the council include: Hon. Saheed Arowosaye (AROSAD), former Chairman of Oyo East Local Government, as Deputy State Coordinator.
Hon. Demola Ojo, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, as Deputy Director General (Oyo South).
Dr. Femi Ojo and Alhaji Siju Lawal as Deputy Director Generals for Oyo Central and Oyo North Senatorial Districts, respectively.
Hon. Ramata Agberemi Dabo as Director, Women’s Wing and Hon. Kazeem Bolarinwa, former Special Assistant (Youth) to Governor Makinde, as Director, Youth Wing.
The governor urged members of the campaign council to engage leaders of the APM and integrate existing structures and platforms without delay.
The inauguration was attended by Deputy Governor Bayo Lawal; Oyo APM governorship candidate, Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, and his running mate, Mufutau Open Salawu; Secretary to the State Government, Professor Musibau Babatunde.
Also present were the Chief of Staff, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi, PhD; and the Senior Executive Assistant to the Governor on General Duties, Chief Bayo Lawal.
