Akande Rejoices With Olubadan At 93
Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Professor Adeolu Akande, has rejoiced with the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Royal Majesty, Oba Saliu Adetunji, Aje Ogungunniso1, on his 93rd birthday anniversary.
Akande, in a statement, expressed joy that God has blessed the first class monarch with good health and wisdom on the stool of his forefathers.
“It is heartwarming to rejoice with our Baba on this rare occasion of his 93rd birthday. Only very few people enjoy the kind of grace that God has blessed the Olubadan with,” he stated.
Professor Akande noted that the reign of Oba Adetunji has been characterised by peace and unprecedented development in Ibadan.
He said the Olubadan has been instrumental to renewed unity among individuals and groups in Ibadan, adding that this has culminated in the further development of sub-saharan largest city’s development.
The NCC chairman prayed God to continue to shower his favour on the traditional ruler, his entire family, Ibadanland and Oyo State.
