Senator Sharafadeen Alli has described the acting chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Oyo State chapter, Alhaji Olayide Moshood Abas, as a true statesman who is committed to the growth of the party and the state.
The senator representing Oyo South Senatorial District stated this in a statement to congratulate Alhaji Abas on the occasion of his 75th birthday anniversary.
Alli, in the statement by his Special Adviser (Media), Akeem Abas, extended warm birthday wishes to the Oyo APC chieftain.
Senator Alli described Alhaji Abas as a true statesman whose dedication and commitment to the growth of Oyo State and the APC have been exemplary.
The lawmaker praised the enduring contributions of Alhaji Abas to the party. He noted that the wisdom of the celebrant, his experience and leadership have been instrumental in the progress of the APC in the state.
“At 75, Alhaji Olayide Moshood Abas continues to be a beacon of strength and unity in our party.
“His selfless service and unshakable loyalty to the APC are qualities that all party members hold in high regard,” Senator Alli stated in the statement.
The federal lawmaker highlighted the significance of reaching such a remarkable milestone in good health and sound mind.
