One to two minutes clapping of the hands, with a beautiful smile on your face everyday, can help to guard against some chronic and debilitating health issues.
Dr Bhadram, an ergonomics and wellness consultant, stated this in a 01:17 video clip, noting that doing the exercise on a regular basis improves blood circulation and thus ensure general human wellbeing.
He said the exercise is a very good exercise to guide against hypertension, diabetes, hair loss, stress and also boost immunity.

Bhadram went ahead in the video to demonstrate how to conduct the exercise in order to ensure its effectiveness against the stated chronic diseases that can cut short human life.
“One exercise for hypertension, diabetes, hair loss, stress and immunity. [It is] very simple. The exercise is clapping; clapping improves blood circulation.
“There are points on the palm which coordinate internal organs in the body. When you clap, you are indirectly activating the entire system,” he said.
Demonstrating how the exercise can ensure an improved blood circulation, the ergonomics and wellness consultant said: “When I say clap, it is not this way.
“It is like this: clap, clap, clap, clap for one to two minutes everyday. Doing this everyday improves your wellbeing. So, don’t forget; clap with a beautiful smile on your face.”
The position of Dr Bhadram was corroborated by the outcome of a recent research that there are 10 health benefits derivable from regular clapping hands exercise for about 20 minutes every day.
Team HealthyStripe, a team of healthcare experts in the pursuit of active, healthy and nutritious living, had stated in report, dated 14 March, 2022, that the exercise, apart from the 10 health benefits, also promotes spiritual health.
The Team stated in the report that the 10 health benefits inherent in the exercise include enhanced brain; healthy heart; benefits for the bone; healthy hair and skin; and improved immunity.
Looking at clapping as a guard against health issues, other health benefits accruable from this exercise are better breathing; magnificent mental wellness; improved eye health; healthier liver and kidney; and benefits against diabetes.
