Ambassador Dr Yemi Farounbi has described Oba (Senator) Rashidi Ladoja as a man of great attainments who has remain the voice of the voiceless and an outstanding leader of the people.
The doyen of Broadcasting and a former Ambassador of Nigeria to the Philippines stated this in his special tribute to Oba Ladoja on the occasion of his 80th birthday anniversary.
Farounbi congratulated Oba Ladoja, a former governor of Oyo State for the multiple roles he has played in his 80 years of existence and for the value he has added to everything he touched.
He described Ladoja, a former federal lawmaker, as an outstandingly distinguished personality, forever regal and destined to reach the pinnacle.
“Kaabiyesi, Your Excellency, Most Distinguished, I am so grateful to Almighty Allah for his grace of your life and for the great things he has used you for.
“I congratulate you for the multiple roles you have played in these eight decades. I salute for the value you have added to everything you have touched.
“I am proud of you that in spite of the very eminent positions you have occupied, you have remained close to the common people, as the voice of the voiceless, the helper to the helpless and an outstanding leader to the people.
“I am proud that you have remained the same reliable, dependable, trustworthy and an embodiment of all the virtues of OMOLUABI that you were when I first met you in 1985.
“I am proud to have you as a worthy friend, a consistently good brother, and an outstanding performing associate and colleague.
“Excellency… you are excellent. Most Distinguished…you are outstandingly distinguished. Kaabiyesi…you are forever regal and destined to reach the pinnacle.
“I pray that Allah will grant you more grace and glory, joy and happiness, blessings and mercies, achievements and accomplishments, long life and prosperity.
